People of Chile! Hello!
45 days ago we all came here, to the beautiful country of Chile, to experience the adventure of the lifetime.
For most of us, the journey is over, so it’s the time to remember our fallen comrades.
Let’s start with the first one out. Nick. I never met the guy, and the only thing I know, is that he is the first voted out here. Nobody wants that spot, and I can only hope that there was a good reason for him going home.
Whitney – I never met him too, but I remember Jared talking about how sneaky Whitney was. So I guess he came he ready to play, and just overplayed the early stage of the game.
Edvin – the first person with who I talked in this season. The first person with who I had “game talk” in 10 months. I was really looking forward to work with him, but we got separated at the swap, and he didn’t survived enough to reunite. It was nice to meet him.
Kiefer – my first vote of the season and my first vote after a long break. He definitely was a player here, but he targeted Valentin, with who I had a good connection, and the reasoning of “he screwed me in another game” helped me to decide, that there is no need to convince Kiefer to change target, and it’s better to get people to vote him instead. He is a great guy, but he needs to learn to leave old grudges behind.
Jessie – one of few old schoolers, who I had met before. Definitely a big personality in the community, and I guess that he was considered as a threat to leave the game so early.
Juliet – the game started around at the time of her birthday. And she prioritized her birthday celebration over the game. I don’t know what happened after the swap, but seeing that she even self-voted in her vote, I doubt she got at least a little more active.
Austin – really intelligent player with great social skills. I could have easily seen us working together in the game, if the numbers were differently, but at the time we met, joining his side would had meant destroying all bonds I got in this game, and starting working with people I hadn’t met yet.
Louise – oh, this girl! I was so upset that she didn’t made the merge… we are very different people, but we had soooo good chat after Kiefer’s vote… just she became a victim of “anti-talaganteism” as hosts once said…
Mitchell – first vote of the merge, and the time I went the most aggressive at collecting people to vote for exact person. During all pre-merge, I was collecting “bonds” with people, and as I hadn’t met Mitchell, it got natural, that I need to “cut” the person with who I don’t have a bond. Mihai’s bad opinion about Mitchell, and Alex G’s agreement that he should be the target – really encouraged me, and with having an immunity, I went into suggesting people to vote for Mitchell. It worked.
Jared – I still can’t believe that it’s his first game. His passion for the game really reminds me myself at times, when I can’t hide it. Being voted out basically 2 rounds before outcast twist happened, he still managed to work himself back to the game. A lot of potential in his game, and with some experience I can see him wining multiple seasons.
David – just as Mitchell, we hadn’t met in the game before the merge, but just as merge started, we had a good chat. As being huge rivals in one season 2-3 years ago, we knew each other, and just saw it as an opportunity to work with “someone at the same thinking level as myself” (as David said). However, 2 voting rounds passed, and we still were unable to get on the same page at the votes, so then I was 3rd time suggested to vote for David, I hadn’t argued. One of the old-schoolers here, who were around at the times when my addiction to games were at it’s peak.
Crooks – we were at the same tribe from day 1 till the day he got voted out. With a little slow start in chatting, we eventually became really close, and worked great until F7. Until the time when he got too big of a threat. His power at some kind of challenges + his ability to talk with Madison, made him really dangerous. As in most seasons with F2 FTC, F7 was a time for a big move, and it was made.
Bradley – his vote was a time when things didn’t went to the plan, and my emotions made me change something I planned. Being in an alliance of 4, I was thinking that I need to have someone I trust outside of that alliance to make a move at F5. I saw Bradley as that person, and all the game we grew bond, with me giving him hints about how we will take this game into our hands. However, as I found out, he was doing the same with Alex, and I got paranoid that I won’t have that person on my side at F5. With a revote happening I could have changed my vote, and ask Mihai to do the same, but as I spent last 24hours convincing people to vote for Bradley, I couldn’t had such reversed opinion. I would had considered changing my own vote in the revote, but I just couldn’t start convincing other people to change theirs. (I know this kind of stuff isn’t for Rites of Passage, but that was Bradley’s message to me during reading votes of his TC, and I spent last couple of weeks wanting to explain this)
Madison – the last lady of the game! Wow, you won’t believe how many times I tried to start conversations with her! But almost all “outside the game” talks was ignored. Well, it’s ok, I am used being ignored by ladies. At the F5, when my “original ally for F5” was gone, I managed to get back into working relationship with Madison. And at the time, when that relationship had to be activated – she got med-evacuated. Well, I can only hope that she managed to recover from that injury which got her med-evacuated.
Alex. I know it will sound like ass-kissing, but as you see in the text above, I don’t do ass-kissing. But he is the best player I had seen in a while. At the start of the game, he was the only one talking here, and saving me from going insane in the silence around. I was so upset when we were separated at the swap, but also so happy when we got reunited at the merge. Alex was always the one with who I talked the most about the votes, and we basically switched times at making the decisions at who we will vote out next round. (to be fair, most of the times we were thinking about the same targets). Challenge beast, social butterfly and strategic brain. All in one, young guy named Alex. #triple_threat
and now there comes to the 3 of us who is left still in the game. One of us will soon join the jury, the other two will face the jury. However the season ends for me, I just wanted to say that it was the huge honor to meet all the people I met in this game. And hopefully we will stay in touch after the game. Peace.
Sorry for bad English,
