"We began this game about 7 weeks ago. Along the way we lost many players fo execution, quitting, and being kicked. We also lost 4 hosts."
And so here we are. Just Lex making your quizzes and me making your missions. But what if we asked for something different? What if we told you TJ made an off-handed comment that implied he'd be making the final mission? Well, he did, and so we're going to sort of hold him to that.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get TJ to write a mission for you either in chat or as a separate forum post here. His mission must have a deadline of no more than 48 hours and award a maximum possible prize of $100k.
If you successfully get TJ to post such a task for the group by Wednesday November 21st at 11pm EST, then you will get a free $25k for the pot in addition to whatever you win from TJ's challenge.
Below are the resuots of the mission. Please note the name in the first set of parentheses is how the person originally answered the question as the name in the second set of parentheses is what the other two players guessed they answered.

For finding 1 person, the players earned $75k for the pot. This brings the total pot up to $348,500.
You have had many weeks now to get to know your fellow players. If you are not the Mole, then that means now one of the other players is your last opponent for the prize and the other player is the Mole. How well do you know your foe?
Each of you will be presented with a series of 4 questions (each person gets different questions), to which you must honestly answer the name of one of the other 2 remaining players. Even the Mole must be honest in their answers. Your answers to these questions will determine at which of 16 endpoings of branching paths you'll be hidden.
It is then the job of the other 2 players to debate the answers to your questions - for this they are free to be honest or dishonest in what they think you answered. If the other 2 people work together to go down the correct path (meaning they get all 4 questions correct), then you will earn $75k for the pot.
Although all players will be able to view the mission chat at all times, you should not speak while you are the one who is hidden, and you cannot discuss your answers with anyone until after the other players have reached an endpoint and learned whether or not they found you there.

In total, you all completed 15 tasks, so that raises the pot by $75k.
The pot now stands at $273,500.
Each player will be added to a private thread where they will run a gauntlet of 10 tasks - each one a mini version of a mission from the season. Each task will have its own time limit(s), and the entire gauntlet has a time limit of 30 minutes.
Each player must arrange with me a time at which to start their gauntlet. As all players will be running the same gauntlet individually, discussion of the tasks is prohibited until all players have finished running the gauntlet.
Results will not show completion time; they will only show which tasks each player completed successfully. For each successfully completed task, a player will earn $5k for the pot, so this mission has the potential to add as much as $200k to the pot, more than doubling what we have so far.
Andrew collected LCUFODF and spelled CLOUD for $12,500.

Welcome, Final Four, to the mission before the antepenultimate mission.
You will all be added to a chat where a host will occasionally post a fairly randomized letter from random.org. You will not be told in advance how many letters will be posted and they may not be spread out evenly over time.
You will have only a few minutes after each letter is posted to GRAB it, and only the first player to grab a letter will get it. If no one grabs the letter after a few minutes, the letter will be discarded and no one will get it.
At some point we will announce when all letters have been taken or discarded. At that point each player must submit a word using their collected letters (if you want 2 T's in your word, you need to grab 2 T's).
Your word must be a valid English word according to the Scrabble dictionary from an earlier mission, but you will not be scored by Scrabble metrics - only by word length. And you are only allowed to make one word with your letters; any unused letters are wasted.
You also can't trade letters with other players, so make sure the right people are grabbing the right letters.
For each letter in your submitted valid word, you will earn $2500 for the pot.

There are no more freebies or exemptions to be earned in the game, so for this week's quiz you either have to rely on your understanding of the mole's identity or your usage of freebies you collected earlier in the game (if you still have any).

The ocean grid is now a mess of destruction. A total of 84 bombs were launched, which passed the limit of 80, so you earned $0 for the challenge. The pot remains at $158,495.

Alex and Toby tied for the exemption for having the last two ships alive, but Alex won the tie-breaker for having more of his ship alive the previous round. So Alex is exempt from the upcoming quiz.

Ahoy, mateys! Your final chance at exemption is on the line.
We have located a 10x10 plot of sea, with rows labeled 1 through 10 and columns labeled A through J.
Your pirate crew is asking you via radio where you want to hide your ship. Each player only has one ship, and it is 4 units long. Since you will be placing your ship blindly in your private thread, it is possible your ship will overlap with another player's ship - that is okay.
Also reachable via radio are bombing crews. While they apparently don't have eyes to just tell you where the pirates are, they can drop bombs from the sky at the requested locations. An automated system will report to everyone on whose ship(s) they damaged (if any).
After everyone places their ship, we can begin bombing. Each player can command up to 3 bombs to be dropped per round. They will pick these locations in their private thread, but once everyone has selected their targets for the round this will become public information. Everyone will see who bombed where and what (if anything) was destroyed. A spreadsheet with separate tabs for each round will be used to display this info.
Even once your pirate ship is destroyed, you can continue bombing.
There is nothing stopping you from bombing a space someone else already bombed or bombing your own ship - although both would be a bit weird. One person can't, however, drop multiple bombs on the same space in the same round.
The mission ends when only one ship remains at least partly alive.
The last player whose pirate ship has not been completely destroyed will win the final exemption of the game and guarantee themselves a spot in the Final Four no matter how badly or slowly they complete the quiz.
If there is a tie for "last ship remaining" because multiple lost their ship in the same round and then no ships remained, then the game ends with zero ships remaining, and the exemption is given to the person whose ship had more spaces undamaged as of the previous round. If that's still a tie, go back to the round before that. And so on. If it's still a tie, then the winner will be decided randomly among those tied.
Just a reminder about freebies in case anyone still has them: the last chance to use freebies on a quiz is next episode. They cannot be used for the Final Quiz. Also, I want to confirm that no more freebies will be awarded, so this mission actually holds the final chance at getting any sort of advantage in the game.
Oh yeah... the pot. For this mission, the pot will be based on how many unused bombs remain from the initial stockpile I've provided the players. I have a pool of 80 bombs available for use. If you use them all and I have to reorder bombs, you get $0 for this mission. But if there are bombs remaining, I can resell each one of them for $2000 and add that money to the pot.
So, for example, if all 5 players use all 3 bombs for 4 rounds before the game ends, that would be 60 bombs used and only 20 would remain. Hence, $40k would be added to the pot.
We'll be running on a 24 hour deadline from the time of this post for initial ship placement and a 15 hour deadline for each round of bombing from the time of that round beginning. If you don't get a bombing post in by the time I'm ready to update following the conclusion of those 15 hours, it will be assumed you did not want to bomb anything that round.

All players completely failed their puzzle, except Toby who beat the Ruby Station puzzle with 4 attempts remaining to earn $20k for the pot.
For the Diamond Station puzzle, Cole went first and failed. Then Toby went second and won, earning another $20k for the group.
This $40k overall raises the pot to $158,495.
The 5 remaining players have each descended into a cavern of puzzles. Each one of them has chosen a gem and been locked in the corresponding room until they either complete their puzzle in their private thread or fail it 5 times.
When they all meet in the central room (the Diamond Station), they will be tasked with completing one more puzzle. Each player will get 1 attempt (which everyone else gets to view). But if all 5 fail, they'll still be let out of the cavern - just without any money from that puzzle.
Each puzzle is worth a potential $25k, but for each failure its value drops by $5k.
The puzzles will not be revealed following the mission - players can choose what they want to say about their puzzle themselves. But at the conclusion of the game I'd be happy to explain what any of them were and how they worked.

Comparing the two lists, we see that movies 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 14, and 15 were correctly guessed. At $4000 each, 12 movies net the players an easy $48000, bringing the pot up to a respectable $118,495.
Lex and I have drawn our poor renditions of actual movie posters. The better-looking ones were made by Lex, and the worse-looking ones were made by me. Your goal is to work together to compile a numbered list of movies corresponding to the images.
If there are multiple movies in a series, you must say the specific movie. For example, if the answer was Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, then you would not get credit for Paul Blart: Mall Cop.
When making your list, please put your name next to that movie guess. You are free to change your movie guess later, but it is "locked" from anyone else changing it - that way no one can come in at the last moment and change the entire list to Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 right before the deadline. Each person is only allowed to make at most 4 movie guesses formally speaking, but you are free to continue to engage others in discussion.
Your list as of Monday October 29th at 5pm EDT will be considered your final list. You will earn $4,000 for the pot for each correctly identified movie.

Immunity... up for grabs.
We are doing a challenge for a potential exemption, and we're going to determine the winner by running a miniature game of Survivor - no challenges, just voting.
The winner actually has 4 options for a prize: (1) add $50k to the pot, (2) add $40k to the pot and claim 1 freebie, (3) add $30k to the pot and claim 2 freebies, (4) add nothing to the pot but claim an exemption.
In the interest of the highest pot and your own survival in this week's execution, you probably want to make sure you crown someone you trust to decline the exemption as the winner of this challenge, but I'll leave it all up to you.
Here's the outline of the rounds of this game - each round will be guaranteed no more than an 18 hour deadline, but if you all submit early then we can end and start rounds more quickly. (Failing to meet a deadline, on the other hand, will result in a 1 point penalty on this week's quiz.)
Round 1: The 6 players will each cast an eviction vote (no voting for yourself). To formally vote, please post VOTE: [name] in your private thread. Once you've casted a vote, it cannot be changed (as will be the case with all rounds). The player receiving the most votes will be eliminated from the mission; they will not be on the Jury.
Round 2: The 5 remaining players will each cast a vote using the same rules as in Round 1, but this time the eliminated player will join the Jury.
Round 3: The 4 remaining players each vote again, and that eliminated player joins the Jury.
Round 4: The last 3 players vote once more. And the final Jury member is determined.
Jury Vote: The 3 members of the Jury vote for a winner of this mission.
Final Decision: The winner chooses which of the 4 prizes (listed above) they wish to claim.
Are you still reading? Then you must be wondering what happens if there's a tie. Well, if there is anyone who did not vote for one of the tied players, then they (and they alone) will be asked to re-vote for one of the tied players. You will not know which player is re-voting, and in fact you won't be told any of the private choices of any individual players - unless the "private choice" can be purely logically deduced.
But what if we reach a tie that can't be resolved in this way? Then we will ask the player most recently eliminated from the mission to cast the deciding vote -- and this would be one of those "purely logically deduced" situations, since you'd obviously know what this player decided.
Astute thinkers may now realize this addresses every situation except a 3-3, 2-2-2, or 1-1-1-1-1-1 tie in Round 1. So if one of those things happens, then an extra "deciding vote" will be determined by random.org.
Round 1 begins now with a deadline of Friday October 26th at 5:15pm EDT. I need a properly formatted non-revocable vote from each player in their private thread. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Not much was gambled, and overall the players came out on top. They grew the $30,000 into $31,015. So the total pot grew by $1,015 and is now $70,495.
For this mission, you will be playing three different casino games. They will be available to play at anytime for 24 hours. But here’s the catch: the money that you guys will bet is taken directly from the pot. You will be playing with 30k. The challenge will end after a 24 hours period, unless all of the money is lost.
Now for the games,
Blackjack the objective of the game is to reach a score of 21 or to have a higher score than the dealer without exceeding 21. At the start lf the game, the player is dealt two cards while the dealer is dealt a single card. The player can then decide to either sit(which means to not be dealt any more cards) or hit (to be dealt another card). The player may hit as many times as they want until they either sit in which case it now becomes thr dealer’s turn or they bust which is to go over the 21 points limit. During the dealer’s turn, they will automatically hit until they have 17 or more points. The cards are worth the number of pips they have so a 3 of clubs is worth 3 points, ect. Face cards (jack, queen, king) are worth 10 points and Aces are worth either 1 or 11 points.
Roulette there you will be betting on the result of a roulette. So either the colour (black or red) or the number (1 to 38).
Craps there the betting is on the result of a pair of dice.
