A quit is a rare method of elimination in which a contestant chooses to leave the game without being voted out. Although not technically deemed to be quits, some contestants have also chosen to leave the game due to issues in real life or have explicitly requested that they be voted out at Tribal Council.
Occurrences
- The first quit occurred in Survivor: Russia. During Day 6, Charlie Trelli decided to quit the game after his tribe won the tribe challenge. He didn't wish to play any longer, so he asked to be medevaced.
- In Survivor: Russia, on Day 8, DuskofSkulls fell ill and claimed he needed to leave the season because he didn't feel well. He returned for Survivor: Jamaica.
- In Survivor: Russia, on Day 12, Brian Long173311 asked to be voted out after not feeling the game anymore, although he was set to leave at that very tribal.
- In Survivor: Singapore, Thatdragonguy quit the game on Day 6 as Chameleon777 was leaving the game via vote out. He pleaded for her to stay, but it was already too late.
- In Survivor: Singapore, Amoline quit the game due another game, and being fed up with the community. She was given a day or two to return, but she was declared evacuated on Day 15.
- In Survivor: Japan, Broyate quit the game once merge began, due to real life issues. His departure changed the season from a 7 person jury and a Final 3 to a 7 person jury and a Final 2.
- In Survivor: Japan, XxXMidget In a BikiniXxX quit on Day 32 due to personal issues.
- In Survivor: Majorca, DestructiveMilkshake quit aka medevac to save another ally from going home.
- In Survivor: Sicily, AnaVanderbilt quit Day 2 due to personal time restraints, making this the fastest quit in Canadienne ORG history.
- Tal98 attempted to quit in Survivor: Krakatoa, but was asked to think about it before proceeding. He was voted out that tribal before he could give his final verdict.
- In Survivor: Pine Barrens, Gabbym12 quit Day 4 due to being sick of people talking to her.
- In Survivor: Turkestan, Penguinxd123 quit on Day 21.
- In Survivor: Heroes vs Villains, Kyshes quit the game on Day 15 after a fight with another castaway.
- In Survivor: Black Forest, Ginga Ninja Jack quit the game due to personal reasons.
- In Survivor: Atlasov Island, Lolobird034 quit the game due to personal reasons.
- In Survivor: Vancouver Island, Zeebem quit the game after reaching Quadra Island post-elimination on Day 20.
